Qualcomm Aiming To Ship 1.5GHz Smartphone/Tablet CPU In 2010

Qualcomm's Snapdragon has quickly become the world's most well known mobile phone processor. Prior to the Snapdragon, most could reasonably argue that consumers didn't know anything about the CPUs within phones, mostly because all phones were relatively slow and only useful for making calls, sending images and occasionally browsing the Web. But now, smartphones are real-deal mini computers, with the ability to handle 3D gaming, browse the Web much like a standard desktop browser and even handle video calls.
