Qualcomm's Snapdragon has quickly become the world's most well known mobile phone processor. Prior to the Snapdragon, most could reasonably argue that consumers didn't know anything about the CPUs within phones, mostly because all phones were relatively slow and only useful for making calls, sending images and occasionally browsing the Web.
