Toshiba added the Canvio 3.0 portable hard disk drive with a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface to its lineup. These new drives offer transfers at up to 10 times the speed of USB 2.0 drives. The Canvio 3.0 drives will come in storage capacities of 500GB, 750GB, and 1TB. Each of the new drives will be preloaded with Windows-based NTI BackupNow EZ software.
